The Cinema Museum (free sfx)

Last year I attended Cheap Cuts Film Festival which turned out to be a wonderful experience for a few reasons.

First of all it was a superb festival with a line up full of experimental documentaries including Sandmen which I sound designed.  I spend most of the day watching films and met some lovely film makers.

Secondly I discovered the Cinema Museum. This little gem is hidden away around the back of Elephant and Castle and is well worth a visit. Sadly the building is currently up for sale so the future of the museum is unknown.

There was such a great feeling inside the building and being surrounded by so much cinema memorabilia I instantly new I wanted to record there. After a brief chat with the kind volunteers who run the place it was on!

Below are a few sounds and pictures from the session.
